Charlotte's Kitchen like everyone in the hospitality and tourism industry are delighted to be open again albeit under the constraints of the new COVID-19 Protection Framework. So a quick overview of what this means for Charlotte's Kitchen and any other changes we have had to make as a result of the impact of COVID-19.
Opening Hours
Under the current restrictions, we have made some changes to our restaurant including
-
Limiting groups to 10 people and 100 at most in the restaurant.
-
Single Server for each table
-
Contact tracing for all guests
-
Spacing between each table.
-
Changing our cleaning processes to ensure more stringent controls
This may make service a bit slower but please be patient with us and we would encourage booking.
Takeaway
Wednesday through Sunday we will continue to offer a takeaway menu. No delivery sorry.
COVID-19 Protection Framework
From the 3rd December 2021, in order for Charlotte’s Kitchen to comply under the new COVID-19 Protection Framework, we will require My Vaccine Passes to be presented in order to enjoy Charlotte’s. Unfortunately, you will be turned away if you are unable to present your My Vaccine Pass. You will also be required to bring some further photo identification as well.
Your Vaccine Pass will be scanned in by a member of our staff who may also check this against your ID. You will be additionally required to use the COVID-19 Contact Tracing app. This is a directive from the Government and Ministry of Health that allow us to operate within the COVID-19 Protection Framework.
We will also be requiring our staff to hold a vaccination certificate (as per government regulations 1st vaccine by the 3rd December and 2nd by the 17th January). As we will be operating under the RED level, customers are still required to wear a mask while entering Charlotte’s Kitchen and moving around the building including entering and moving around the restaurant. Please click here for further information.
Please note – a negative COVID-19 test will not permit your entry. The requirement is for the vaccine certificate.
Please be kind to our team while this system is in place. We are all working in unprecedented times and pressure and are doing our best to follow the rules, and keep our staff and customers safe. If you have any questions or concerns, please email us at hello@charlotteskitchen.co.nz and they will direct your query to the correct person.
Thank you for your ongoing support to our business it means a lot.
